This is a page where I am sharing some of my lessons as I go through the foster process. I will add things as I think of them

Before Fostering:
- Get poop bags, one of those handy dandy things that you can attach to the leash!
- Plan...where will dog stay/sleep, especially if you have other pets, where will you feed other animals vs. foster dog,  make sure you have time to walk/exercise/play with the dog
-Try to prepare yourself to give the dog back...


Equipment:
- Poop Bags!  (Can't stress that enough!  Must be a responsible Dog person..)
- Seat belt leash, click here for an example on Amazon
- Dog dishes
- gates - if you plan on separating your areas 
-Blankets - I have a few blankets I have designated for my foster dogs

During/after Fostering:
- Clean areas where dogs have been (just in case they have anything that could transfer to other dogs)
- Wash blankets
- Show affection for other animals... (In my case make it up to Stella that I dared to have another animal in her house without her 'pawmission'!)
